I
always found it odd that – here in America, at least – the political powers
that be who claim that poor people are just lazy moochers while the rich
deserve more tax cuts so they can play golf more, are usually the same ones who
think, if you have a pulse, you should be able to have a gun. Off hand, I can’t remember any historical
examples of money protecting the rich from the pitchforks of the poor during
popular uprisings. You’d think the rich
and powerful would want to keep the peons unarmed.

A militia reservation
The federal government owns millions of
acres out west, and there are militias who hate the federal government. So what if the government set up a couple
hundred thousand acre militia reservation?
If they so choose (there would be no forced march to the reservation) militia
members could move there and be self-governing with as little interaction with
the government as possible. Would any
militia members take the offer? How long
would their militia “utopia” last?

Jet setting preachers
There has been some news lately about these preachers who need private jets to do the Lord's work. And I can't help but think, Didn't Jesus ride around the desert on a donkey? I'm no biblical scholar, but I don't remember a part in the Bible where Jesus asked for money so he can buy a sleek stallion.
